FUND RAISING INITIATIVES
Fund Raising
The Club’s Fundraising Committee
coordinates typically 2-3 high-impact events each year, along with a few traditional
smaller initiatives. The fundraising objectives focus on marshalling club
resources and members, in coordination with the local community and sponsors,
to ensure success in terms of both levels of participation and financial
targets.
Current fundraising initiatives
include:
- Festival of Trees (December)
- Cinqo de Mayo celebrations (May)
- Golf tournament (June)
- Participation in Canada Day and
Heritage Day
- Progressive dinner raffle
